Assam APSC Assistant Engineer Exam Result 2021: The Assam Public Service Commission is currently recruiting Assistant Engineer under the Department of Irrigation. Assam APSC Assistant Engineer Exam Result 2021

The APSC or Assam Public Service Commission released a notice on 19 August 2020 as Advertisement number 06/2020 regarding vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer under the Irrigation Department. The exam was held on 28 August 2021. The exam was conducted in the format of an Optical Mark Reader or OMR based Screening Test. It was held differently for the three streams of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical and in different sessions for subjects of General Studies and Engineering.

The authorities will soon release the answer keys for the subjects and invite objections. Soon after that, the cut off will be finalised and a selection or merit list will be released on the basis of that. Candidates with roll numbers in that list will have to appear for the interview. The final result will be declared post that.

The Assam Public Service Commission will release Answer Keys for the OMR based test that was conducted on 28 August 2021. The authorities will release four answer keys in general. A common answer key will be released for the subject of General Studies that was a two-hour test conducted in the first session of 10 AM- 12 PM. Different Answer Keys will be released for the subject of Engineering since separate tests were conducted for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical in the second session from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The candidates must follow the steps given below in order to download the respective answer keys, once available:

1. Visit the official portal of Assam Public Service Commission at apsc.nic.in.
2. On the “Important Links” section of the home page, select “Answer Keys“.
3. The web page displaying all the latest answer keys will open up in a serial wise order.
4. Look for “Screening test (OMR based) for the post of Assistant Engineer, Irrigation Department (Advt. No. 06/2020, dated 19th Aug 2020)“.
5. Under the above mentioned notification click on the Subject name as written in a green box.
6. A pdf file of an OMR sheet will open up with the correct answers darkened with a black pen.
7. Download the pdf or print it as per convenience.

APSC Answer Key Claim Format

The authorities will post a notification link attested to the heading “Screening test (OMR based) for the post of Assistant Engineer, Irrigation Department (Advt. No. 06/2020, dated 19th Aug 2020)”. The candidates must check the notification to get the proper Answer Key Claim procedure. Moreover, the last date to object to the answers will also be mentioned in the same.

Generally, in the same section where answer keys will be published, the authorities post the “Answer Key Claim” format. The candidates must download and print the file and fill in the details. They need to write the claim serial number, question number, official answer key, answer given by the candidate and the sources attached to support the claimed answer. Further, they need to send the filled form along with the supporting documents via email at apscanskeyclaim@gmail.com before the provided deadline.

APSC Assistant Engineer Exam Result Cut-Off Marks 2021

The authorities will compile the result based on the released answer key and the received claims. They will carefully finalise a consequent answer key and examine on the basis of the same. There will be a cut-off which the authorities will decide in order to select qualifying candidates. The cut-off marks are not expected to be released by them for the candidates to check. The commission will directly release the selection list or merit list.

The APSC will release the result for the screening test of the Assistant Engineer in form of a merit list. The roll numbers of selected candidates for the interview stage will be mentioned serial wise in the list document. These candidates will be the ones who have passed the written test and have scored more than the cut off marks.
