AP LAWCET Result 2023 Out; Download Rank Card, Answer Key

AP LAWCET exam for 2023 has been successfully held on 20 May 2023 at the designated examination centres. Now the conducting authority for 2023 is Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur on behalf of APSCHE announced the AP LAWCET Rank Card and Result 2023 on 16th June.

Students who participated in the examination may download their results and rank card from cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and for this, they required their registration number, hall ticket number and DOB.

AP LAWCET Result Link 2023

AP LAWCET Rank Card will be announced soon. The result/ scorecard of the candidates will be based on marks obtained in the entrance test. The result will be communicated only through the official website. No hard copy of the result will be generated and sent by post to any of the candidates. It is their sole responsibility to download the result from the official portal.

AP LAWCET Minimum Qualifying Marks

In order to qualify AP LAWCET 2023 candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks fixed by the conducting authority. The minimum qualifying marks criteria can be checked here-

Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 35% i.e. a minimum of 42 marks out of 120 marks in the entrance test. There are no other qualifying criteria for ranking of SC and ST candidates. All the candidates have to score the same qualifying marks. All those candidates securing scores less than the said marks will not be able to pass the test and thus become ineligible for admission.

On the basis of the LAWCET rank card, qualified candidates will be granted admission to 3 years or 5 years law courses. However, a mere qualifying entrance exam will not confer candidates a right to admission. Final admission is subject to counseling, the satisfaction of eligibility criteria, and various other factors.

How to Download AP LAWCET 2023 Rank Card?

• Login to the official website of AP LAWCET which is www.sche.ap.gov.in
• Now, click on the Download LAWCET rank card link flashing on the main page of the portal.
• Now, you have to enter your registration no. and other details required. Click on the search/ submit button.
• The desired result pdf will open.
• Check the result status, marks, results, and other details.
• Download the rank card for your reference.

AP LAWCET 2023 Ranking

The ranking will be provided to each candidate on the basis of their marks in the entrance test. While deciding the rank or merit, in case two candidates secure equal marks then a tie-breaking criterion will be used to determine the rank. The tie-breaking criteria followed for calculating relative ranks are as follows-

• Marks secured in AP LAWCET Part C will be considered.
• If tie still persists, then marks secured in Part B will be taken into consideration.
• If tie is there then, the age criteria will be considered. Candidates older in age will be ranked high.

AP LAWCET Evaluation Process

Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of ranks obtained in the entrance test. Utmost care is taken while evaluating the entrance test answer sheet and preparing the LAWCET result. The evaluating authority ensures that there is no error in the evaluation and ranking process.

This is the reason that there is no provision of revaluation/ rechecking or re-totalling of marks after the publication of the result/ rank card. The result shall be final and no request regarding revaluation will be entertained.
