AP GDS Result 2022 Andhra Pradesh Gramin Dak Sevak Merit List Cut Off Marks: Application for Andhra Pradesh GDS is over now and the result for the same has been declared by the authority online at its official portal. AP GDS Result will be available in pdf format carrying the list of the applicants shortlisted for the posts district-wise. Applicants who have applied for the post may check the selection list from the official website or the link shared below. One who will be shortlisted will be called for an interview whose details will be shared later by the officials.
However, recruiting authority will also send physical intimation to shortlisted candidates. Provisionally selected candidates will be called for the further selection procedure.

India post invited applications from the eligible candidates of Andhra Pradesh for the post of GDS in AP postal circle for 2022 recruitment. Under this recruitment drive, 1716 vacant posts of GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) will be filled. A huge number of candidates apply for this post every year. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit.

AP Postal GDS Merit List 2022
AP GDS Result will be hosted online in the form of a merit list pdf. The selection of candidates for GDS post will be made on the basis of the automatically generated merit list as per the recruitment rules based on the applications submitted by the candidates. As per GDS selection criteria, candidates will be selected purely on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. No selection exam had been conducted for this recruitment job.
The merit list will be generated automatically on the basis of marks of the candidates in the qualifying exam i.e. class 10th/ SSC. Past experience of candidates or services of any kind will not be considered for the purpose of selection. Along with this, no weightage will be given to candidates who have mentioned their higher education in the application form.
After the publication of the merit list on the GDS engagement portal, provisionally selected candidates will be sent an intimation about their selection through SMS. A physical intimation will also be sent to selected candidates in due course of time.
The selection of candidates at this stage will be provisional. Appointment of suitable candidates will be done on the basis of document verification.
Andhra Pradesh GDS Result 2022- Resolution of Tie
While preparing the Result or merit list, if two or more candidates secure equal marks then a tie-breaker will be used to determine the order of merit. The merit order will be determined on the basis of the Candidate’s Date of Birth (higher age as merit) in the given order-
ST female, SC female, OBC female, UR female, Schedule Tribe (ST) Male, Schedule Caste (SC) Male, Other Backward Class (OBC) male, Unreserved (UR) male candidate.

What after the declaration of AP Postal GDS result?
On selection, recruiting authority will send an SMS on the registered mobile numbers of the candidates. A physical intimation regarding provisional selection and next selection procedure will be sent to the postal addresses of the candidates.
All these candidates have to verify their original documents at the verification center assigned by the district recruiting authority. The appointment of candidates for this post will be done at the district level by the concerned recruiting authority.

How to Check AP GDS Result 2022?
AP GDS Result will be made available to all the candidates in online mode initially. To check the result online, candidates can take help from the step by step process given below-
- Step I- Applicants have to start by visiting the Online Gramin Dak Sevak Engagement portal of India Post.
- Step II- On the homepage, they have to search for the “Result Released” icon.
- Step III- They need to click on the “Andhra Pradesh” result link.
- Step IV- On clicking the relevant link, the result pdf will be downloaded.
- Step V- Candidates have to click on the downloaded pdf and the result will open.
- Step VI- Lastly, they have to search their names on the list.

*Candidates having both marks and grades in the marks list have to apply with marks only. In case any candidate apply with grades only his application liable for disqualification.
In case of the marks lists containing the Grades/ Points, marks will be reckoned by taking conversion of Grades and points with the multiplication factor (9.5) against the maximum points or grade as 100.
