JNTU Anantapur has conducted its AP EAMCET which is now known as the AP EAPCET from 15 May for Engineering and from 22nd May for Agriculture and Pharmacy. After appearing for the examination the applicant must be looking for the result announcement which is to be announced in June 2023. Those who have secured the 25% marks will be eligible for admission. Once the result is announced applicants may check it online by submitting their login details.

AP EAPCET Result 2023 will be prepared on the basis of marks in the entrance test and qualifying examination (i.e. class XII). JNTU, Anantapur is not going to dispatch any hard copy of the result to candidates.

AP EAPCET Answer Key 2023

JNTUK Anantapur on behalf of APSCHE released the EAPCET 2023 preliminary answer key for the Agriculture and Engineering pape. Along with the answer key, they will also release question paper and response sheets. With the help of this students can calculate their marks. If any candidates have any objection regarding any answer key so they can submit their objection by the notified dates.

AP EAMCET 2023 Exam

Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is an entrance exam conducted at the state level every year for admission to undergraduate programs in the field of engineering, medical, and agriculture. The professional courses which are offered through this exam include Engineering, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology), Bio-Technology, B.Tech. (Agr. Engg.), (ii) B. Pharmacy, Pharma. D & (iii) B.Sc. (Ag)/ B.Sc. (Hort)/ B.V.Sc. & A.H/B.F.Sc.   

AP EAMCET for admission to academic session 2023 was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam was conducted in online mode in two sessions across various examination centers. All questions were objective type (multiple choice type) questions. Total 160 questions were asked from three subjects viz. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

All candidates who have taken the exam are now eager to view their result. So, we would like to inform them JNTUK will announce the result soon. University will publish the result only through online mode. No hard copy of the scorecard or rank card will be sent to any candidate through the post.

Candidates must secure minimum marks as suggested by the officials. However, for SC and ST candidates there are no minimum qualifying marks criteria.

How to download AP EAMCET/EAPCET Result 2023?

AP EAPCET candidates can download their result by following the given steps-

• Step I- Visit the official website of AP EAPCET 2023
• Step II- Click on the result/rank card link running on the screen.
• Step III- Enter the roll number and other required details.
• Step IV- Result will appear.
• Step V- Check the rank and other result particulars
• Step VI- Lastly, download and take printout of the rank card. Keep it safe for further reference.

AP EAMCET Rank/ Merit list 2023

Rank card and merit of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of normalized marks in the entrance test and marks in 10+2. The weightage given to entrance test and class 12th marks is 75% weightage and 25% weightage respectively.

Depending on the merit ranks will be prepared and on the basis of ranks, candidates will be called for counselling.

Tie-Breaking Criteria

While preparing the merit list if two candidates secure, equal marks then the given criteria will be followed to determine the merit and relative ranking of the candidates-

• The total marks secured by the candidates in AP EAPCET-2023
• Total Marks obtained in the mathematics section in AP EAMCET-2023
• Total Marks secured in Physics in AP EAPCET-2023
• The Percentage of Aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination
• If the tie still persists, the older (on the basis of date of birth) candidate in age will be given preference.

Revaluation of AP EAPCET Answer Scripts

EAMCET answer sheets are evaluated with utmost care in order to avoid errors. Hence, there will be no provision for revaluation, scrutiny, or rechecking of the answer scripts.

Candidates should not make any request for revaluation, rechecking or scrutiny of answer scripts as no such requests will be entertained by the university after the release of rank card.

Normalization of marks

As the exam was conducted in different shifts, the university will use the normalization of marks to make the ranking rationalized.

The formula and complete process for normalization is as follows-

Normalized Marks of the candidate = [GMS+ (Top Average Global- GMS)/  (Top Average Session -SMS)] ´(Marks obtained of the candidate -SMS)

Where,

SMS:(Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the candidate belongs to

GMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together

Top Average Session: Average marks of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the session in which the candidate belongs to

Top Average Global: Average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all sessions together

AP EAMCET 2023 Counseling

Once the rank card and merit list of the candidates are available, the university will invite applications for counselling. It is supposed to be conducted in online mode called as Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

On the basis of merit, only qualified candidates will be able to register for online counseling. Information about all the participating institutions with intake in each category and discipline for seat allotment will be made available in the information booklet of counseling and also on the official website.
