Here we are mentioning some conditions that are stated in the advertisement and every candidate must have attained them if they are applying for the recruitment. So, this is the list of requirements set by the selection committee for the services mentioned above:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Applicants must have attained a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institute
  • Aspirants must be able to read, speak as well as write the Bengali language.
    (Candidates with Nepali as a mother tongue will have to attain this qualification)
• Age Limit:
  • Aspirant’s minimum age should not be lower than 21 years old and the maximum age should not be more than 36 years old (Group ‘A’ & ’C)
  • The minimum age for applicants should be 20 years old and the maximum age should be 36 years old (Group ‘B’ Service)
  • Aspirants should not be below 21 years old and more than 49 years old for Group ‘D’ Service.
  • Age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 years for SC and ST aspirants and 3 years for OBC candidates.

How to apply online for the WBPSC Civil Service Recruitment 2023?

• The first step in this application process is landing on the official web portal of WBPSC through this link: https://wbpsc.gov.in/
• You will see the Candidate’s Corner on the right side of the home page on the screen.
• Click on the option of One Time Registration available under it and it will lead the users to a new page.
  
• The new page will hold the registration form. Enter all the asked details on it correctly and you will get successfully registered.
  
• Now, click on the Login option and log in by providing your registration details.
• After that, find and click on the WBCS Application link and start filling out the application form.
• Once, all details are filled in, attach the essential documents within the specified size.
• The next step in the procedure is to pay the application fee by choosing your preferred gateway.
• Now, all steps are completed and candidates will just have to tap on the submit tab.

WBPSC Civil Service Recruitment Application Fee

The officials are providing online and offline modes for the submission of application fees. Now the aspirants can pay the fee as per their preference. The application fee for the recruitment is Rs. 210/- Candidates will also be charged a minimum of 5 rupees as a service charge and GST as applicable. If the payment is done offline then the Rs. 20.- will be charged as a service charge. Aspirants belonging to the SC, ST and PWD are exempted from paying any application fee for the West Bengal WBCS Recruitment.
