• Applicants must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the WB Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
• Interested aspirants applying for the post should be able to write, read and speak in Bengali or Nepali language fluently.
• The authority will check the language test of aspirants whose mother tongue is other than Bengali or Nepali language through the Personality Test. If the performance of these candidates in the language test will be average or poor then the candidature of those candidates will be cancelled.
• Applicants must be healthy and should be able to take long tours in West Bangal’s rural areas.
• Aspirants must not be born earlier than 2nd January 1983 and not later than 1st January 2005.

Application Fee submission is also one of the parts of the application process. Applicants will have to pay the required application fee to submit the application form. Or else, the application process will not move forwards. The officials have also provided relaxation to candidates belonging to reserved categories. However, the relaxation can be claimed by West Bengal candidates only. The officials are not going to entertain any request regarding the refund or adjustment in the application fee.

The application fee can be submitted through a credit card, debit card, etc. So, the application fee is Rs. 110/- along with a Service Charge of 1% of the Exam Fee subject to at least Rs. 5/- for debit/ credit card online application. The officials will charge an extra Rs. 20 for payment through Bank Counter. Aspirants belonging to the SC, St and PWD of West Bengal are exempted from paying the application fee.
