UPSC Combined Medical Services Eligibility Criteria
It is a must for the applicants to fulfil all the conditions of UPSC for CMS 2023. In case any candidate does not fulfil anyone from the below-mentioned cases than their application form will get rejected. So read carefully this portion of the article before applying for the exam online.
- Applicant must an Indian Citizen. Subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and people from a few other countries can apply for this exam.
- The age of the applicant must not be more than 32 years. Applicants from reserved categories will get the benefits of relaxation in the upper age limit according to the rules.
- The candidate must have passed the written and practical exam of MBBS final year.
- Those who haven’t appeared in the exam of MBBS final year are also eligible to apply here for the exam.
- The candidate must be fit mentally and physically as per the CMS 2023 standards.
How To Fill UPSC CMS 2023 Application Form?
UPSC has divided the application form-filling process into two parts; Registration I and Registration II. In registration I the applicant will have to enter general information and the second part includes payment submission, exam center selection processes.

Step 1: The application form for UPSC CMS 2023 is available on the official website of UPSC so visit it first. The link for the official portal is https://upsconline.nic.in/.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website you will get a list of links. Here click on the highlighted link as given in the image below.

Step 3- Now, on this page, click on the relevant link. The application will be submitted in two parts, therefore you have to complete part I- registration first and then proceed to part II.

Step 4: Now you will find the instructions to fill the application form. Read them and click on the Yes Button.
Step 5: Here you will have to enter general information about you as mentioned in Registration I.
Step 6: Provide information about your photo id type, engineering branch, and the centre of the main examination.
Step 7: Click on the continue button to reach to Registration II part. In part II you will have to first enter your category. Then upload the required document as mentioned in the article.
Step 8: Make the payment of the application fee and click on the declaration statement given on the webpage.
UPSC CMS Application Fee 2023
Candidates will have to pay 200/- as an application fee to apply for the exam. The application fee can be paid through online banking or other ways of cashless transactions. The offline option is also available to pay the application fee for UPSC CMS 2023. Female applicants and candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempted from the payment of application fee.
