OPSC Odisha Civil Services 2023: The Odisha Public Service Commission has released the notification for the recruitment of the designation under the Odisha civil services. The applicants who find themself eligible for the OPSC Odisha Civil Services 2023 Examination can fill in the application form starting from the 17th of January 2023. The last date for filling in the application form is the 16th of February, 2023. The Commission has released a total of 683 vacancies in Group A and Group B.

OPSC Odisha Civil Services Notification 2023
The Odisha Civil Services Examination, 2022 will be held in two phases. The first phase will be a preliminary examination and the second one will be of Mains Examination which will include a written exam and an interview. The preliminary examination will be held for only screening the candidates and the qualified candidates will appear for the mains examination. The selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the second phase of the examination.

OPSC OCS Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria properly before filling out the online application form. The eligibility criteria are divided into two sections below:
Educational Qualification
The candidates are required to possess a bachelor’s degree and their degree should be authorized by any university. The university should also be incorporated by an act of law under the government of India.
Age Criteria
The candidates are required to be not born before the 2nd of January, 1984 and should not be born after the 1st of January,2001. The age relaxation for the candidates is as follows:

How to Apply For OPSC Odisha Civil Services Examination 2023?
The application mode is online. However, the candidates are recommended to apply for this examination after going through the below steps only:
- Visit the official website of the Odisha public service commission i.e.https://www.opsc.gov.in/
- Now on the homepage, the applicant will find an option of ‘Apply Online’ on the top right side of the page. Click on that icon.
- A new page will open up.
- On the right-hand side of the page, the candidate will find a login and register option.
- If applying for the first time, the candidate has to register themself first.
- Fill in the basic details which will include a valid email id and phone number. A password is also to be created by the candidate.
- After successful registration, the candidate will receive a username through which the candidate has to log in again.
- After logging in again, the candidate has to fill in their educational details and also have to upload the photo and signature.
- After finally submitting the application form, the applicant will be allotted a “Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN)”.
Lastly, the candidates are advised to take out the printout of the filled-in application form and sign it wherever required in that form. The Filled in and submitted application form is required to be kept safe as it will be demanded by the authorities during the selection process.
