- Applicants must have completed the diploma/degree/ITI as per the post they are applying for.

Age Limit
The prescribed age limit for the recruitment of apprentice in the Oil and Gas Corporation Limited is mentioned below. The crucial date of eligibility is 20 September 2023.

Age relaxation to reserved Categories

- 10 years of relaxation for PWD candidates.
- If the applicant belongs to both PWD and SC or ST category, the total age relaxation of 15 years will be given and for PDW-OBC (NCL) 13 years of relaxation shall be provided.
ONGC Apprentice Monthly Stipend Amount
Applicants applying for the engagement process of the apprentice will be provided a fixed amount of internship amount. The apprentice amount shall be provided in accordance with Apprentices Act, 1961, and Rules 1992. It is expected that the applicant will have a minimum of Rs 8000 as an apprentice amount. The amount can vary and totally depends upon the consent of the authority.

ONGC Apprentice Selection Process
Selection for an apprentice under the ONGC will be done as per the merit list. Previous marks shall be considered for the selection process. However, it fully depends upon the authority to select the candidate or not. The applicant will be intimated about the results in due course.
The duration of training for all disciplines is 12 months except for the trade of library assistant where it is for 6 months.
