Under this recruitment process, 450 Officers from all across the country will be selected. The selection of suitable candidates is based on two-phased selection examinations and interviews. The dates of selection exams will be disclosed later by the company. Applications will be submitted only in online mode. No offline application forms will be made available by the recruiting authority. Applicants have to visit the official portal for filling the application forms, as they will be made available there only.  The selected candidate will be posted anywhere in the country.

• Applicant should have a graduation or post-graduation degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 60 % marks for General candidates (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• Final year appearing candidates can also apply for this post, provided they must possess their pass certificates before the cut-off date.  

Age Criteria

• Applicants should be of minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 1^st August 2023.
• Age relaxation in upper age limit of the reserved category candidates is also applicable. Check category-wise age relaxation details given in the table below-

Application Process for NIACL AO Recruitment 2023

Application submission process AO recruitment is going to start from 1^st August 2023. Those who satisfy the eligibility conditions can follow the simple instructions given below to fill the online application form-  

• Go to the official website of NIACL first.
• Click on “Recruitment” menu given on the website’s homepage.
•  Click on the NIACL AO recruitment link and hit the “Apply Online” link.
• A new screen will open and on this page hit the “Click here for New Registration” link.
• Fill in the details required such as name, contact details, and email address.
• A provisional registration no. and password will be generated. Keep this no. and password for further login.
• Fill in all the information correctly in the application form and proceed by clicking on “Save and Next” button.
• Now, verify the details before submission. If any change is required, change it and click on “Final Submit” button.
• Click on “Validate your details” and proceed.
• Hit the “Save and Next” button.
• Now, upload the necessary documents.
• Click on the Preview tab and review the application form before final submission.
• Click on final submit button if all the details are correct.
• Click on the “Payment” tab to make the payment of application fee.
• Click on submit button.
• Lastly, take the printout of the application form and payment receipt for your reference.

NIACL AO Selection Process

The selection of suitable candidates for the post of Generalist comprises of various stages mentioned below-

• Phase 1- Preliminary Exam- The phase 1 exam will be an online examination for the screening of candidates for further rounds. It will be an objective type question-based exam that is likely to be conducted in October 2023.
• Phase 2- Main Exam- The second stage is the main examination. Candidates qualifying the pre-exam will be shortlisted for the Main examination expected to be held in November 2023. It will be a descriptive exam in nature.
• Interview- After the publication of the main examination result shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview round. The interview schedule and complete details will be notified to each shortlisted candidate by the company.

The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of consolidated marks of the candidates in the Mains examination and interview round. The final selection list will also be published online on the official portal.
