Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKSPSC) has invited the online application for various posts under their Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary). Only those applicants are eligible to apply for such posts who are domiciled in UTs of J&K. The application for the said post is available from 17th April 2023. JKPSC CCE 2023 Notification
On 13 April 2023, JKPSC released KAS 2023 notification, through which they aim to fill 75 vacant posts under three departments namely Junior Scale of J&K administrative service, J&K Police, and J&K accounts (G) service. Interested applicants may submit their application online mode which can be submitted by 30th June. JKPSC CCE notification carried all the detailed information along with preliminary and main exam dates.

JKPSC CCE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
It is very important for all candidates that before you may proceed to online application you must know about eligibility and other principles which are required for the posts because if at any stage it was found that you are not fulfilling any criteria that are required for the said post then your candidates will be cancelled right away without issuing any prior notice. Academic Qualification
Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India or from a foreign University that was equivalent to India’s bachelor’s degree.
While those who appeared for their final examination in 2023 need to provide proof that he/she has appeared for the examination on or before the last date of prelims application registration and must have qualified the said exam at the time of application submission for the main examination.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates will be counted as on 1st Jan 2023 and the maximum requirement age under different category is given in the table below: –

Reservation
Applicants who are seeking relaxation under the reserved category must ensure that they hold the required certificate issued by the competent authority on the last date of application form submission.
Domicile
It is to be noted that only such applicants can apply for the posts that are domicile of UTs of J&K and in support of this they must produce a domicile certificate that was issued from a concerned department in a prescribed format and it has to be issued by the last date of application form submission.

How to Apply Online for JKPSC CCE 2023 Recruitment?
On fulfilling the eligibility criteria you may submit your JKPSC KAS 2023 application through online mode and the steps that are involved in it are given below: –
Visit the official portal for the required link
- Candidates need to go through the official website first which is jkpsc.nic.in
- Once the portal opens you need to select the Job/Online application link which is available in the recruitment dropdown menu
- Now under the combined Competitive preliminary select the apply tab
One Time Registration
- Click on the One Time Registration link or for those who have already registered select the login tab
- For OTR you need to submit personal details, contact information, education, and service details.
- Also, you need to upload your photograph (with dates stamped on it) and signature.
- Post One Time Registration, you will receive a username and password on your registered email ID or mobile number.
Application form and fee submission
- Once the OTR process is completed, select the show jobs and select the post or examination you are looking to apply for.
- For the respective post apply button will appear and on clicking the same some instructions regarding the online process will appear to you.
- Fill in all the details as required in the application form and verify the same before final submission.
- Upload other documents required for the application.
- After this, pay the application through an online payment gateway.
- On successful form submission, you can take the printout of the application for next-stage reference purpose.

The documents which are required to upload in the online application must be jpeg format and the photograph must not be taken before 1st Jan 2023.
Editing of online application
Those who submitted their form successfully, along with an application fee will be allowed to edit their details (but only limited fields) whose window will open from 17 to 19 May 2023.

JKPSC KAS Selection Process
JKPSC CCE 2023 selection process will go through three stages and you need to clear each stage for the selection. The stage of the selection process is given below: –
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
- Interview
Note: the marks secured in the prelims examination will be considered for shortlisting of candidates for the mains examination.
Number of Attempts
Candidates who appeared for the said examination will be permitted for a maximum of 6 attempts. But such restrictions are not applicable for those who belong to SC and ST. Whereas those who are of RBA, Social castes, & ALC category will appear for a maximum of 9 attempts.
And those who are physically challenged will get the same number of attempts as that are available for non-physically challenged of their respective category
JKPSC CCE 2023 Examinations Scheme
The selection for the posts is comprised of prelim, main, and interview. So through this section, we will let you know about the prelims and main examination scheme: –
Preliminary Examination
- It will be based on 2 paper viz. general studies-I and general Studies-II
- Question type: Objective (MCQ)
- Maximum marks: 200
- Negative marking: 0.33 (one third)
Mains examination
Mains examination will be of written examination which consists of 8 papers conventional essay type.
