Jharkhand PGT Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

For the Post Graduate Teacher posts, the eligibility criteria are subdivided into age criteria and required educational qualifications. Age Criteria

For the PGT post, minimum and maximum age limits are specified by the commission. To calculate the minimum age limit, the reference date is 1 January 2023. Whereas, for the calculation of the maximum age limit the reference date is 1 August 2019. The minimum age limit for all categories as per the aforementioned reference date is 21 years. Required Qualifications

The qualifications required to apply for the PGT posts in the offered subjects are shared in the following list. All these qualifications must be attained by the candidates as of the last date of the application process i.e. 4 May 2023. • The candidates must possess a PG degree with 50% marks in one of the 42 subjects taught in govt. school with a B.Ed degree OR;
• The candidates must have pursued PG in subjects taught at 10+2 Level with 45% marks along with a B.Ed Degree OR;
• The candidates must have pursued PG in subjects taught at 10+2 Level with 50% marks along with a B.A.Ed or BSc.Ed degree OR;
• The candidates must have pursued PG in subjects taught at 10+2 Level with 50% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed/ M.Ed degree.
• For all SC/ ST candidates, 5% of relaxation will be offered in the required marks by the commission.

In the jssc.nic.in PGT Recruitment 2023 Application Process, the following are the steps that the candidates will have to go through.

1. By using https://www.jssc.nic.in/, firstly enter the commission’s portal.
2. Here, choose the “Application Forms” option under the Important Links section.
3. On the next page, tap the application link for PGTTCE 2023.
4. Now, on the page dedicated to PGT Recruitment 2023 click on the Apply Online option.
5. On the next page, proceed to fill out the application form.

Examination Fee

JSSC Post Graduate Teacher Competitive Examination 2023

In the selection process for Post Graduate Teachers in the offered subjects an examination (PGTTCE-2023) will be conducted by the commission. This examination will be a Computer-Based Test. In this exam, the candidates will be given two papers to attempt. Paper I will have 100 questions from General Knowledge and Hindi Language. Whereas, Paper II will have 300 questions from the subject which is chosen by the candidates.
