IBPS PO Recruitment 2022: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released IBPS PO notification for various Nationalized Banks on 1 August 2022 at their official website i.e. ibps.in. Through IBPS PO 2022 exams, candidates will be shortlisted for the post of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee. The IBPS PO examination will be conducted in three phases which include- The Preliminary, Mains, and Interview. The candidates shortlisted will be kept on a probation period for 2 years.

Here in this section, we have shared the eligibility that applicants must fulfill which are given as: –

• Candidate should possess a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any disciple from a University, recognized by the Government of India.
• The candidate who has received an equivalent qualification approved by the Government of India can also apply.
• Should have knowledge of computer. No document is required to display.
• Should have a good command of verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/U.T.

• The candidate must be a citizen of India or,
• A subject of Bhutan or Nepal.         
• Or, refugees from Tibet who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 with a permanent intention to settle in India.
• Candidates have to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India during the document verification round.

Age Criteria

• The candidate should be less than 20 years and should not exceed more than 30 years as per the crucial date of eligibility.

Registration for IBPS PO

Candidates have to register themselves with the portal by providing basic details. It is the first step toward filling up the application form. Follow the steps to complete the initial registration process.

• Browse the official website of IBPS.
• Click on the link with the keyword “Online Registration for CRP PO/MT-XII 2022”.
• A new page will appear. Click on New Registration. Look after the picture given below.

• In the page of New Registration, candidates have to enter their Name, Mobile no., and Mail ID. Go through the image depicted below.

• Enter your details and click on submit button. You will be provided with Registration No. and Password on your Mail ID and Mobile no.

Upload Documents and Fill the Application Form

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2022

The recruitment for the Probationary Officer in various public sector banks follows preliminary, main exam, and interview round. Let’s have an overview of each phase of the examination.

• Preliminary Exams

The preliminary exam for PO will be conducted on notified dates. The preliminary exam is an initial phase of selection. The candidates have to clear the round to get shortlisted for the next phase of examination i.e. Mains. The exam pattern for the prelims exam is given below in the table.

*Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in each section prescribed by the Authority. One mark will be given for each right answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

• Mains Exams

The candidates shortlisted from the preliminary exam will appear for the main examination. The shortlisted candidates from the main exam will appear for the interview round. The exam pattern for the main examination is given below.

Essay writing is also included in the main examination that carries 2 questions with a total of 25 marks and a time duration of 30 min.

• Interview Round
