IBPS PO Recruitment 2023 Registration Open; Apply for 3049 Posts

Institute of Banking Personnel has invited the online application for Probationary Officer and Management Trainees in 11 participating banks. For this, the IBPS PO 2023 job notification has been released by the officials on their official website. A total of 3049 applicants at these participating banks will be recruited by conducting a three-stage examination. Applicants who have completed their degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. The online application for IBPS PO XIII is live from August 1st, 2023.

IBPS Probationary Officer Eligibility Criteria 2023

Here in this section, we have shared the eligibility that applicants must fulfil which are given as: –

• Candidate should possess a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any disciple from a University, recognized by the Government of India.
• The candidate who has received an equivalent qualification approved by the Government of India can also apply.
• Should have knowledge of computer. No document is required to display.
• Should have a good command of verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/U.T.

Nationality/Citizenship

• The candidate must be a citizen of India or,
• A subject of Bhutan or Nepal.         
• Or, refugees from Tibet who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 with a permanent intention to settle in India.
• Candidates have to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India during the document verification round.

Age Criteria

• The candidate should be less than 20 years and should not exceed more than 30 years as per the crucial date of eligibility.

Registration for IBPS PO

Candidates have to register themselves with the portal by providing basic details. It is the first step toward filling up the application form. Follow the steps to complete the initial registration process.

• Browse the official website of IBPS.
• Click on the link with the keyword “Online Registration for CRP PO/MT-XIII 2023”.
• A new page will appear. Click on New Registration. Look after the picture given below.

• On the page of New Registration, candidates have to enter their Name, Mobile no., and Mail ID. Go through the image depicted below.

• Enter your details and click on submit button. You will be provided with Registration No. and Password on your Mail ID and Mobile no.

Upload Documents and Fill the Application Form

1. Candidates have to log in through the login credentials provided on the Mail ID or Mobile no.

• Various online mode of payment is accepted i.e. Debit/Credit/Internet Banking/IMPS/Mobile Wallet.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023

The recruitment for the Probationary Officer in various public sector banks follows preliminary, main exam, and interview round. Let’s have an overview of each phase of the examination.

• Preliminary Exams

The preliminary exam for PO will be conducted on notified dates. The preliminary exam is an initial phase of selection. The candidates have to clear the round to get shortlisted for the next phase of examination i.e. Mains. The exam pattern for the prelims exam is given below in the table.

*Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in each section prescribed by the Authority. One mark will be given for each right answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

• Mains Exams

The candidates shortlisted from the preliminary exam will appear for the main examination. The shortlisted candidates from the main exam will appear for the interview round. The exam pattern for the main examination is given below.

Essay writing is also included in the main examination that carries 2 questions with a total of 25 marks and a time duration of 30 min.

• Interview Round

The shortlisted candidates from the main exams will appear for the Interview round. Questions regarding Personal Interest, Career Objectives, Current Affairs, Educational Background, etc. will be asked.
