Maharashtra NEET Provisional Merit List 2023 The NEET Examination that was conducted for undergraduate candidates was for entrance into Government Medical Institutions. The result for the same was released on 13 June 2023. The candidates who qualified the exam have been waiting for the merit list for 2nd round which will be uploaded online on 29 August. Only such applicants will be considered for the merit list who have participated in the counselling registration. The state educational councils will conduct the counselling at a personal level.

Maharashtra NEET Provisional Merit List 2023
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell is all set to release the provisional merit list for the NEET MBBS and BDS Counselling on 29 August. The list will be prepared on the basis of the registration applications received by the authorities. The details mentioned in the online form will be observed and the list will be curated by arranging the position of the candidates on the basis of their All India Rank and their score in the NEET examination.
This list will be particularly limited to the candidates who have applied to get admitted to the Medical Institutes in the state of Maharashtra. The allocation of seats will depend on the vacancies and choices filled by the candidates after the publication of the Maharashtra NEET Provisional Merit List.

Maharashtra NEET Provisional Merit List 2023: Highlights
The candidates must download the Maharashtra NEET Provisional Merit List online through the official portal of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell or MHT CET. This state educational body will be conducting counselling for the entrance of registered candidates into medical institutions in the state. The provisional merit list will only be released after the registrations of the candidates.

Download Provisional MHT NEET 2023 Merit List Online
The details mentioned in the application form will be observed and a list will be created arranging the students as per their scores in the NEET UG 2023 Exam. To download the list, follow the given steps:
- Open the official portal of the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination Test Cell at cetcell.mahacet.org.
- On the home page, head on to the Medical Education column.
- In the Under Graduate section, tap on NEET-UG.
- The page for NEET UG MCH CET 2023 will open up.
- Finally, on the main page, tap on Download NEET UG 2023 in the Notification Section.
- The list will open up in the form of a pdf file in a new tab.
- Search for the name and roll number of the candidates by scrolling through the list.
- Tap on the Download icon in order to save the list offline.
- The list can also be printed by tapping on the Print icon.

The following details of the candidates will be mentioned in the Provisional List of the Maharashtra NEET MBBS and BDS candidates:

- All India Rank of the Candidates in NEET UG 2023
- Percentile scored in the NEET 2023 Examination
- Provisional Maharashtra State Rank in NEET for the first round
- Name of the Student
- Gender of the Student
- Date Of Birth of the Student
- Examination Roll Number of NEET UG 2023
- Details regarding the claim of Maharashtra Domicile by the Candidate
- Details of Class X education
- Category in the NEET Examination
- If applicable, Maharashtra Category and Sub Category as claimed by the candidate
- College Course Opted by the student, that is, MBBS or BDS
Maharashtra NEET Admission Procedure
The Maharashtra NEET Counselling that will be conducted by the MHT CET will only be limited to the seats in Medical Colleges in the state. The candidates who have successfully registered will be securing a rank in the Provisional Merit List. Based on this merit list, they will be further allowed to choose probable options of college to which they wish to get admitted.
Phase I counselling will commence soon after the choice-locking procedure is over. The candidates will get allocated colleges in the merit list and the qualifying and satisfied candidates shall proceed to take admission to the college allotted to them. Post that, Phase II counselling will be held for those who opted for further counselling and reallocation of their college.
