Gujarat NEET Merit List 2022 will be released by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat. NEET merit lists are basically of two types- One is the Merit list for All India Quota list published by the central authority for NEET counselling and the state merit list published by the respective NEET counselling authorities of each state. In AIQ total of 15% of the seats of medical colleges are reserved and 85% of the seats in the medical courses of state medical colleges are reserved under the state quota. The merit list for the state quota will be released by the state counselling authority of Gujarat.

Gujarat NEET 2022 Tie Breaking Process
If there is a tie between the marks or two or more candidates, then the counselling authority uses a tie-breaking mechanism to determine the inter-se-merit. The tie-breaking mechanism is shared as under-
- Total Marks in Class 12th- Candidates with higher marks in class 12th will be considered first for merit.
- Marks in Biology- If the tie still persists, then the candidate with higher marks in Biology will be preferred.
- Marks in Physics- If the tie still persists, then applicants with higher marks in Physics will be given preference.
- Marks in English- If the tie is still not resolved then preference in the merit list will be given to the candidate who will be the highest marks in English.
- Marks in High School- In case the tie still persists then the marks of the candidates in class 10th will be considered to determine their merit.
- Age of the candidates- If the tie is still not resolved then the age of the candidates will be considered. Candidates older in age will be given preference.

Gujarat NEET Counselling 2022
The process of Gujarat MBBS registration for counselling will be conducted soon by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC). The same committee offers admission to the desirous applicants in other UG medical courses in Ayurveda, Homeopathy & Naturopathy, Dental Science, etc.
The authorized committee will start Gujarat MBBS counselling for admission to the government, management & NRI seats in the medical/dental courses. For admission to the seat under the state quota, applicants can apply for different courses from a single window.
The counselling process for admission in Gujarat medical courses will start with an online registration followed by the choice filling process, seat allotment, reporting, etc. The overall process of Gujarat medical college admission will be conducted online and the applicant will have to visit the help centre physically only to verify their documents. The merit list will be published after the document verification process.
