GSAUCA UG Selection List Tie-Breaking Process
Sometimes a situation occurs when two or more candidates score the same ranks. So, the officials follow a certain procedure to break that tie. Here we are going to provide the process through which the officials break a tie in the merit list:
- Aspirants whose scores will be higher in the Class 12th Biology subject will be placed higher in the selection list.
- Candidates who have obtained higher marks in the Class 12th Physics subject will be given a higher rank in the merit list.
- Applicants whose score will be better in the Chemistry subject will be given preference.
- The officials will give higher ranks to candidates who score higher marks in English subjects from Science Stream.
- The authority will prefer candidates whose overall score in the Class 12th Science Stream will be preferred.
- Lastly, the officials will resolve the tie by giving a higher rank to candidates who will be older in age.
