Assam Higher Secondary Education Council released applications on 29 May 2023 for granting admission to students into HS 1st year (i.e. class 11th) at various schools/ institutions of the state. The application submission process ends on 17th June 2023 and now the Council publish the Assam HS 1st year merit list 2023 on 21 June 2023 (Midnight).

For preparing AHSEC HS 1st Year Merit List 2023, the concerned institutions will consider the performance of the registered students in the 10th standard. - Start by navigating to the official admission portal of the council i.e. https://darpan.ahseconline.in/
- Search for the merit list link given on the homepage of the website and click on it.
- The students can now access the pdf form of the merit list for admission.
- The students must check their application form-related details on the merit list.
- After this, the students must use the provided option and download the pdf of the merit list.
- Lastly, the students must take a printout of the selection list for the forthcoming admission rounds.

After the online publication of the darpan.ahseconline.in Class 11th Selection List 2023, the students must opt for the acceptance of admission on the council’s admission portal. Once the students accept admission, the concerned institute will confirm their admission to the offered stream.
In case any student is willing to change the selected subject, then they can do so at the time of admission and the concerned institution has to update it in the official portal. After completion of the admission, the institutions must publish the vacancy details so that candidates who have not been selected can opt for admission.
