Assam HS 1st Year Merit List 2022 Link: Selection List, Waiting List

Assam HS 1st Year Merit List 2022: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) released applications in June for granting admission to students into HS 1^st year (i.e. class 11^th) at various schools/ institutions of the state. The application submission process has been completed on 24 June and the Council published Assam HS 1^st year merit list 2022 on 29 June 2022. Those who have submitted applications can download their merit list online through the DARPAN portal.

Assam HS 1st Year Merit List 2022

AHSEC Assam has prepared the merit list/ selection list and the waiting list for HS admissions has been released on 29 June. Selected candidates will also be sent a notification regarding their selection through SMS. After the selection, these candidates have to follow the further admission procedure as per the schedule provided. After the release of the first merit Council will also release a subsequent merit list/ selection list depending upon the number of vacant seats.

How to download Assam HS Merit List Online?

As we have mentioned above that the merit list will be published online, candidates do access it through the official portal. They can access their selection list by following the simple instructions given as under-

• Start by navigating to the official admission portal of the council (i.e. DARPAN).
• Search for merit list link given on the same web page and click on it.
• The merit list/ selection list open on the screen.
• Check the list and search your name in the same.  
• If the name is in the merit list, then follow the further admission procedure as mentioned in the notice provided in the quick links section.

The following information is likely to be printed on the merit list-

• Name of the selected candidate (preferably in the order of merit)
• Registration No.
• Date of birth
• Category
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name
• Gender
• Total marks
• Remark
• Further admission guidelines

Assam HS 1st year Admission Process

Candidates who will be shortlisted for admission have to complete the further admission guidelines provided by the council.

• After merit list publication they have to select the concerned school for admission through DARPAN student login within the stipulated date.  
• After that they have to take the admission in the selected institutions as per the schedule.
• In case any candidate is willing to change the selected subject, then he/she can change at the time of admission and the concerned institution have to update it in the official portal.    
• After completion of the admission, institute have to publish the vacancy details so that candidates who have not been selected can opt for admission.
