AMU Admission Merit List 2023

The candidates who appeared for the OMR-based Test for admission to Aligarh Muslim University Schools had to apply for Counselling while filling and locking the choices, before 1 October 2022. Post that, the authorities observed the eligibility of the applicants and verified the documents. In case they found anything objectionable, the candidates were required to re-submit the documents. Now, the authorities are all set to display Firm List 1. The applicants will be required to refer to the list in order to get information on the college allocated to them, their position in the merit, and much more.

The candidates will then have to pay the admission fee for the allocated school to accept and confirm the admission. Following the admission of round 1, the candidates will be considered for Round 2 depending on the vacancies and the number of applicants in line.

As per the announced counselling schedule, the authorities at Aligarh Muslim University have announced the list will be published on the official portal of AMU Admissions on 30 April for class 6 and on 1st May for class 9th. The candidates will have to access the portal in order to obtain the list and download it.

The candidates who applied for admission in Classes 1, 6, and 9 can check Firm List 1 by following the steps given subsequently:

1. Visit the official Admission portal of Aligarh Muslim University at www.amucontrollerexams.com.
2. Click on the option of Schools in the topmost menu on the page.
3. A dropdown list will open up with two options.
4. Tap on the option of School Admissions.
5. The School Admissions web page will appear on the screen with all the relative details.
6. In the Admission Lists section, tap on the link to open up all the merit lists.
7. The Interaction/Interview Lists for AMU Schools, 2023-24 will be listed in a class-wise manner.
8. Tap on the option of the respective class in order to get the listing of all the details of that particular class.
9. In the column of Firm List I, tap on the direct link to open it up.
10. The list will appear on the screen.
11. Tap on the option of Download and Print to get the hard copy.
