Telangana GDS Merit List 2019

The result of Telangana GDS Recruitment 2019 will be published online on the official website of the Department of Post. The result release date has not announced yet, but it is expected that the result will be out by the last week of December 2019. 

The officials of the department of Post will release the result in the form of a merit list. The list will be available in pdf format on the website, which can be downloaded easily. This will be the provisional merit list, and the candidates who will have their names on this list will be called for the document verification round.

After verification of the documents, another merit list will be published online and based on this; the applicants will get the Post of GDS in the Department of Post Telangana. Applicants who will have their name in the provisional and then final merit list will get the intimation of it through SMS on their registered mobile number.       

Selection Process For GDS Telangana 

The eligibility criteria to apply for the vacant posts of GDS say that the applicant must have pass class 10 from a government recognized board. To select suitable candidates, a computerized merit list will be prepared. The merit list will be having the name of the candidates based on their marks in class 10. Only the marks scored in class 10th will be obtained in the preparing of the merit list.

The percentage aggregated to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be considered in the preparation of the merit list. The list released on the website will not be the last list with the information of elected candidates. After the document verification round, another record will be released that will have the information about the selected candidates. Candidates will have to keep it in mind that their marks scored in class 10th will be considered only. No weightage will be given to the marks scored in higher classed.

After The Release of TS GDS Result 2019

After the releasing of the provisional merit list of the Telangana GDS recruitment, the candidates will get the notification on their mobile phone. They will be informed through SMS about the release of the merit list. After getting the information, the applicant will have to visit the official website of the Department of Post. Here they will need to follow the above-given instruction to check their result.

After checking their names in the merit list, the applicants will have to start their preparation for the document verification round. The date for the document verification will be announced after the release of the provisional merit list. After the document verification, the authority of the Department of Post Telangana will release a final merit list. This final merit list will be having the registration number, Name, Roll number, etc. of the candidates. List Of Documents To Be Carried For GDS Document Verification

If any candidate has his name in the provisional merit list of Telangana Gramin Dak Sevak recruitment, then he will have to prepare for the document verification round. In this round, the original copies of educational and personal documents are checked.

Following documents will be required by the officials to show in the document verification round;

1. 10th/SSC/SSLC Original Marks Memo of the candidates
2. Caste or Community Certificate (For candidates from SC, ST, OBC and other reserved categories)
3. 60 days Computer knowledge Trained Certificate From a government recognized institute
4. Physically Handicapped Certificate (If Applicable)

Furnishing of Security

On the election of the candidate, the selected individual will have to furnish the security to the department of Post. The amount of the security amount will depend on the Post in the department on which the candidate has got selected. The detailed information about the security deposit and the reasons behind it have been given by the Postal department in the official recruitment notification. For the selected applicants on the Post of GDS Branch Postmaster, the security amount is Rs.25000/-. For the other categorize of GDS like Assistant Branch Post Master and Gramin Dak Sevak, the security amount will be Rs. 10,000/-.
