SET Cut Off Marks 2020: Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2020 examination is a university level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to various Under-graduate programs offered in its institutes. SET for admission to academic session 2020 will be conducted on 19th July and SET Result will be announced in August 2020.
On the basis of SET result, candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT). All the candidates who will be shortlisted the exam will be able to book the slots of the next round and waiting for the release of cut-off marks.

The cut-off marks list will be displayed after the completion of PI-WAT. Cut-off marks will be made available for candidates only on the respective institutes for which they have applied. Each institute will publish its cut-off list separately and it will be prepared category-wise. SET is a mandatory written exam for candidates who want to take admission to undergraduate programs in the university. After qualifying SET, candidates will be granted admissions to following UG programs-

SET Cut Off Marks 2020
Cut-Off marks play a crucial role in preparation of merit list. Merit list will be prepared after the completion of PI-WAT (Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test) round at all the institutes. Depending on the cut-off marks decided by the institutes for admission, merit list will be announced after both the rounds.
Cut off marks is defined as the minimum score that a candidate must obtain to qualify the exam or selection process. It simply means that SET candidates have to secure scores more than the cut-off marks fixed by the institutions at the discretion of university norms.
Cut-off marks will include weightage of both SET entrance exam and PI-WAT. While preparing the cut-off marks criteria,institutions will consider following factors-
- Total number of seats in the institutes
- Total number of candidates appeared in SET and PI-WAT
- Difficulty level of entrance exam and WAT
- Reservation policy
- Marking scheme etc.
Each institute will decide their own cut-off marks criteria. Category wise cut off list for preparation of merit and wait list will be displayed on official websites of the respective websites. Candidates can check the cut-off marks for their preferred courses by visiting the official website of the respective institutes. It means candidates in each category have to secure marks equal or more than the cut-off decided for their respective category. Further, this criterion will also be used for preparing merit and waitlist.

SET Merit List
