NEET State Wise Counselling 2021: NEET UG result for the year 2021 was declared on 1st November 2021. All those who have qualified the exam and have fulfilled the cut-off marks criteria are now waiting for the release of counseling and schedule. The NEET-UG counseling is conducted at the Central level by MCC for 15% AIQ seats and by state authorities at the state level for 85% seats. NEET State Wise Counselling 2021 has not started in any of the states as of now. The counseling is conducted by the designated authorities identified by the state government and the entire admission process is carried out in online mode in all the states and UTs.

NEET State Wise Counselling 2021
After the publication of the NEET result, counseling is the next process to grant seats and admission to qualified candidates based on their NEET scores and other criteria. NEET 2021 Counselling Procedure
The counseling procedure at the central level and state level counseling is similar. However, the criteria for the issue of merit list/ rank list and number of seat allotment rounds may vary state to state depending on the number of seats and some other factors.

- Release of Merit List- The counselling process generally starts with the publication of merit list or rank list of the qualified candidates. This merit list is prepared by NTA and forwarded to respective state counselling authorities and these authorities publishes it on the counselling portal. Each state counselling authority has an online portal through which counselling and admission process is carried out. Some of the states, also releases the merit list after starting the registration process. Therefore, it could vary state-to-state. - Registration and Choice Filling for Counselling- Those who make it to the merit list, have to register for the counselling. Without registration counselling, candidates will not be considered for admission even if they have secured higher ranks. Registration for counselling is completely an online process. Registration schedule will be published on NEET state counselling portal. Counselling in each state will start on separate dates as depend upon the decision of the concerned state authority.
The status of commencement of counselling for each state has been updated below. After registration, candidates have to fill choices for preferred course and colleges. Choice filling is an important part of counselling as the seat allotment and admission majorly depends on the choices made by the candidates. Therefore, each candidate is suggested to fill the preferences with utmost care. They must be ready with all their documents at the time of registration and choice filling. - Allotment of Seats- After the completion of registration process, the counselling authority scrutinise the applications and prepares the seat allotment result. This seat allotment result is based on the merit and ranks and preferences filled by the candidates. The allotment result is also posted on counselling portal which candidates have to access using their login details. After allotment candidates are given various options, such as freeze, float, updation etc., which again vary state to state.
- Reporting-Candidates who finally accept the allotted seat have to report to thecollege they have been allotted. They report along with the requisite documents as per the schedule for admission.
