IPU CET Counselling 2020 Registration: The counseling schedule which was released earlier by the university has been revised now so those students who had submitted their application form for admission in UG/PG 2020-2021 can check their IPU CET counseling revised schedule. IPU CET online counselling for 39 programs is scheduled to be conducted in the month of June/July 2020 but due to COVID-19, it has been delayed. IPU CET Counselling Registration Process 2020

For online counseling, candidates will be able to register from the official website. In this section, prospective applicants will find information on complete counseling and admission procedure from registration to final admission.

  • Step 1- Payment of Counseling Participation Fee

The first step is the payment of counseling fee.
Candidates have to visit the official website and have click the relevant link provide for fee payment.
They have to enter their CET details like CET Roll No, Date of Birth and Mobile No.  
They have to pay counseling participation fee of Rs.1000/-.
It can be paid through offline (Challan) or online mode (Net Banking /Credit Card and Debit Card). 
After payment, they can also check the status of payment.
After successful payment, they must retain the payment receipt.
Counseling fee will be non-refundable.
In case of any issue related to payment, they can contact university’s helpdesk.

  • Step 2- Online Registration

Once the applicants have completed the payment process, they can proceed further for online registration. They must register within the stipulated time.

For registration, they have to follow the given instructions-

Open IPU CET admission website (http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in).
Enter the CET details for authentication.
After authentication, enter personal /academic /contact details (address, mobile no. & email ID).
During this process, candidates will get the login ID and password.
Keep the login ID and password safe for future logins.
In case, applicants want to edit or make changes in the registration details, they can edit the information within the specified time period.
All the information should be filled correctly.
After successful submission of application, candidates have to take two prints of the application form. One must be submitted at the time of document verification and others to be retained for future correspondences.

  • Step 3- Choice Filling

Choice filling is the next step after online registration.
It is important for seat allotment as without filling the options, candidates will not be considered for allotment of seats.
After registration, applicants have to fill the choices from the list of combinations of courses and institutes available in order of their preferences within the given timeframe.   
They should make as many choices because it will increase the chances of getting the desirable seats.
The choices filled by the candidates will be used for seat allotment.
Candidates are advised to take a printout of the choices and preferences filled by the candidates.   

  • Step 4- Seat Allotment

After the choice filling, candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of preferences filled by them, merit, availability of seats and other factors.
After seat allotment, they have to check the allotment result through their account login by using the registration Id and password.  
Candidates can download the seat allotment letter.

  • Step 5- Payment of Fees

If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat, then they have to pay the part admission fee to confirm the admission.
Admission fee can be paid through bank challan or online mode.
After payment, they must take printout of the admission fee receipt.

  • Step 6- Freezing of Allotted Seats

Once candidates have made the payment, and they are satisfied with the allotted college, they can freeze the allotted seat by clicking the freezing option available on the official website.
In case, candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he/she can participate in subsequent rounds for upgradation.

  • Step 7- Withdrawal of Admission

If any candidate wants to withdraw the admission, he/she can apply for withdrawal of admission by logging in on the official website within the specified time. The admission fee will be refunded. Such candidates who will withdraw the admission will not be considered for subsequent rounds except “Spot Counseling”

  • Step 8 -Reporting/ Verification of Documents

A provisional admission slip will be generated for candidates who have paid the admission fee. These candidates have to report to the allotted college/ institutes along with the allotment letter, admission slip and other requisite documents and certificates in original.

  • Step 9- Spot Counseling

After the completion of all the admission rounds, a spot counseling round will be conducted. It will be held in offline mode at the designated centers of the university on the specified dates.
Spot counseling will be conducted only of the purpose of filling vacant seats after admission process.
