At 3:00 AM GMT, Russian President Vladimir Putin declares the inevitable invasion of Russian Forces in Ukraine in a Nationally Televised announcement. Further, US President Joe Biden condemned the unjustified war declaration on Ukraine and further pledged to assist Ukraine and its people in the darkest times after his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Later, Explosions were heard in the Mariupol region of Eastern Ukraine, and explosions were further reported in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv.

Ukraine informed that they are presently facing a full-scale invasion from the Russian forces and shut down the complete airspace as a result of the invasion and explosions it faces from the Russian Army. Later, the Ambassador of Russia in the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia notified that the Ukrainian people shall not suffer from the aggression but the regime in Kyiv will. The Ukrainian troops were attacked from the side of Belarus by the Russian Forces. The NATO allies established their respective militant forces in regions of Romania, Lithuania, and more member nations near Ukraine. India also strives to connect to the Russian and Ukraine administration as they aim to evacuate the students and Indian citizens stuck in Ukraine during these unfortunate times. India has decided to stay neutral and diplomatic in this situation as they believe that the issue can only be resolved through dialogue and not militant operations.

Hundreds of Russians also protested in Moscow reacting to the unjust imposition of war in Ukraine but were arrested. It was additionally reported that certain Russian Armed Men dropped their weapons in Ukrain Warfield as do not support the battle. However, there is no such official information regarding the retreat of the Russian Army on a larger scale.

A video of the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has surfaced where he assured the Ukrainian People that he and the other senior officials shall continue to remain in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv. As anticipated, Russia vetoed the UN Resolution where 12 countries voted while India, United Arab Emirates, and China abstained from voting. The votes were 11 against but 1 in favour expressing visible opposition but not complete. This managed to fail the resolution as being the permanent member of the UN, Russia used its right to veto. However, the condemnation debate continued further. There are multiple sanctions that various powers unitedly slapped across Russia, reacting to the irrational invasion of Ukraine.

India furthered their cause of being diplomatic on the situation and tirelessly aims to just evacuate the Indian citizens in Ukraine. India successfully vacated 470 students from Ukraine while evacuation actively works through Bucharest. India has advised the stuck citizens to not panic and further locomote without any coordination with Indian Embassy in Ukraine. Putin has also assured the safety of the stuck Indians in his previous call with the Indian Prime Minister.

Now, the recent news is that there were explosions heard near the Ukrainian Capital Kyiv and the Russian Forces have advanced to the region. However, they have faced majorly strong resistance. There is acknowledgment from various Nations to the constant urge to protect the country that is seen in Ukraine. Heavy fighting and militant actions are being reported in the outskirts of Kyiv. The United States has also offered to help in the evacuation of Kyiv but the President Zelenskyy has declined the offer. He refused, saying that he “needs ammunition and not a ride”.
