UPSC IES 2023
The exam conducting authority to conduct the IES/ISS exam for a total vacancy of 51 eligible candidates. The examination for both IES and ISS will be conducted together in the month of June 2023. Interested candidates can fill out application forms that are available online on UPSC portal. The complete procedure to apply and to access the admit card to take the exam is online but the exam will be conducted in offline mode. Later on, the result of the exam will be released online on official website of UPSC.

Applicants must check their eligibility before applying for UPSC IES ISS 2023. Here, we have mentioned the eligibility criteria to apply for IES. If you fulfil it then you must apply online to take IES examination as per your qualification-
– Both male and female candidates can submit applications.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates interested to apply for IES must have completed post-graduation. PG degree should be in any one of the following disciplines- Applied Economics, Economics, Business Economics, or a related field.
- The degree must be from a government recognized university to apply for IES.
UPSC IES Age Limit
- To apply for UPSC IES the minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years and maximum age of candidates should not be more than 30 years as set by authorities.
- Cut-off date to decide the age of the applicants is 1 August 2023. So according to this candidates should not be born before 2nd August 1993 and not later 1st August 2002.

UPSC One Time Registration 2023
How To Fill UPSC IES/ISS 2023 Application Form?
Applicants will have to apply online to participate in UPSC IES 2023. Here step-wise instructions are mentioned. To take the exam you will have to follow them and submit your application on or before the last date of application.
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC @upsc.gov.in to access the application form.
Step 2: You will see a link to ‘Apply Online’ on the right side of the home page of the website, click on it.
Step 3: Click on the relevant exam option. If you wish you can click on https://upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php.
Step 4: Now you will find the link to online applications for various examinations conducted by UPSC. Look for IES exam 2023 here and click on it.
Step 5: Now, click on the part I Registration option. Instructions to apply for UPSC IES or ISS exam 2023 will appear on the screen. Read them and proceed further to fill the application form.
Step 6- Complete the registration process (PART I) by filling all the required details and proceed to part II.
Step 7: Fill the application form and write down your registration id.
Step 8: Now pay the application fee and upload all the required documents on the website.
Step 9: Click on the view/print application button and re-check the information you have mentioned in the application form. If everything is correct then submit the form else do the correction and then submit the application form.

- For applicants from UR/OBD and EWS categories, application fee is 200.
- For applicants from a reserved category and female candidates, application forms are available at free of cost.
- Candidates can make payment of application fee through both online and offline mode.
