Educational Qualification
To apply for any of the aforementioned posts the applicant must have passed class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks and completed ITI from any Recognized Institute in relevant trade. The applicant needs to score a minimum of 65% marks in the ITI course. The candidate should possess this qualification as of the closing date of application.
To apply for the vacancies of Rigger and Crane Operator (Overhead Steel Industry) candidate shall be Std 8 pass only, without ITI. Those candidates who have already undergone to Apprenticeship in any Govt / Public Sector /Private Industrial organization are not eligible to apply for the vacant posts mentioned here.
Age Limit
To apply for the available vacancies in Naval Dockyard Mumbai the applicant must be born between 21 November 2022 to 21 November 2009. For the applicant from SC, ST category the upper age limit is relaxable by five years. Forwards of Defence employees or Naval civilians, the upper age limit is relaxable by two years.
Minimum Physical Standard
The minimum height of the candidate should be 150 cm and the weight should not be less than 45 Kg to apply for the vacancies in Naval Dockyard Mumbai. Candidates must be healthy. The eyesight should be 6/6 to 6/9 (6/9 corrected with glasses) and Chest expansion should not be less than 5 cm.
