DEEET 2023: Application Form Date Extended; Apply Now

DEEET 2023: The Central Selection Committee, Education Department, Tripura has published the notification for the DEEET 2023. The full form of DEEET is Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination 2023, Tripura. The candidates who are interested and find themselves eligible can fill up the application form accordingly. The starting date to fill up the application form is the 10th of March, 2023 and the deadline is the 31st May, 2023.

The applicants can register online and fill up the application form by visiting the official portal of the Tripura higher education i.e.www.highereducation.tripura.gov.in.However, we will reiterate again that please fill up the application form only after going through the eligibility criteria only.

DEEET 2023 Notification

Talking about the DEEET Examination 2023, DEEET is a state-level entrance examination conducted to provide admission to students aspiring to pursue Engineering Diploma in Tripura. After clearing this examination, the candidates will become eligible to take admission into 3-year Engineering Diploma courses in any of the participating institutes.

Some of the Participating institutes are Women’s Polytechnic in Hapania, Gomati District Polytechnic in Udaipur, Tripura Institute of Technology in Narsingarh, Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) in Agartala etc. In this article, we will enclose all the information regarding the DEEET 2023 application form in forthcoming paragraphs.

DEEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Interested students can go through the eligibility criteria properly as not fulfilling the eligibility criteria will lead to the cancellation of their candidature. In this section, we have provided the eligibility criteria in detail, the applicant can check it out and then can proceed forward accordingly.

• First and foremost, the applicant must be from the state of Tripura. In other words, it implies that the candidate should be a permanent citizen of Tripura.
• Secondly, the applicant should have passed their 10th examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education or Tripura Board of Secondary Education or any other authorized board of the government. In addition to this, the students who have appeared or are about to appear in the 10th board examinations are also eligible for the DEEET.
• In case the applicant qualifies the DEEET exam and secures a seat then the candidate will have to exhibit their SSC or 10th Certificates.
• There is no upper age limit set by the authorities according to the guidelines laid by the AICTE, New Delhi.

How to submit DEEET 2023 Application Form?

After fulfilling the eligibility criteria, the applicants can proceed towards filling up the application form. However, the candidates are advised to first check out the below steps and then only fill up the application form for the DEEET Entrance Examination.

1. To start the process of filling up the application form, the candidate should first open the official website using the web address provided here>>https://highereducation.tripura.gov.in/
2. Now the homepage of the Directorate of Higher Education, Tripura will appear on the screen.
3. Under the left side of the homepage, there will be a link ‘For Admission into Diploma Engineering ‘.Click on that link.
4. Now a new page will open up on the screen.
5. Here if the applicant is applying for the first time then they have to register themself first.
6. Fill up the basic details such as name, a valid email id and phone number, and date of birth.
7. Also, create a password at your convenience.
8. After successful registration, the applicant will receive a ‘Reference ID’.Jot it down.
9. Now again log in with the user id and password.
10. After logging in, Click on the ‘Edit Profile Form’.
11. Now upload the scanned photo and signature as per the specifications mentioned below.
12. Afterwards, fill up the educational details and other required information.
13. Check all the details again and then finalize the application form.
14. Now the applicants have to pay the application fees through online mode.
15. Finally, the candidates are requested to print the acknowledgement form for future use.

Documents To Be Uploaded

• The scanned document includes recent photos and signatures must be in either jpg or jpeg format. Their size should be 250 kb and 100 kb respectively. Their background should be white and the scanned signature preferred to be in blue colour.
• All other documents should be in pdf format and the size should be 1 Mb.
• ESM, Caste or PwD Certificate if applicable.
• For BPL applicants, a scanned copy of the front page of the BPL ration card.

Registration Fees

DEEET Entrance Examination Pattern

The Entrance examination will be MCQ based and of duration 2 hours. In addition to this, the candidates will be examined on the basis of subjects i.e. English, Mathematics and Science or Physical Science (Chemistry and Physics). The marks distribution of the question paper will be:

• English- 80 Marks
• Mathematics- 160 Marks
• And Science and Physical Science- 160 Marks
