GATE Answer Key 2023 OUT; Question Paper, Response Sheet

GATE Answer Key 2023 @ gate.iitk.ac.in: IIT Kanpur the conducting authority of GATE 2023 has scheduled the entrance test on its scheduled dates. After conducting the exam successfully for all shifts the officials release the provisional answer key on 21st Feb 2023. Applicants can check the GATE answer keys for the concerned papers from the official website of GATE 2023. GATE 2023 was conducted on 4, 5, 11, and 12 February 2023 across various exam centres. After appearing in it, candidates are now looking for the release of the answer keys so that they can match their responses with the official keys. Gate Answers keys will provide them with an insight into their GATE 2023 results. Official keys will be hosted only on the official portal and no other medium will be available. Separate question paper and answer key PDFs will be provided for each paper.

GATE Answer Key 2023

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) is a national level exam conducted jointly by IISc ( Indian Institute of Science), Bangalore, and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. IIT, Delhi is the organizing institute of GATE 2023.

GATE 2023- Important Dates

GATE 2023 Response Sheet

Before going to GATE answer keys, let’s discuss the response sheets of candidates that have been updated on the GOAPs. It’s just the response sheet not the answer keys to the questions so do not get confused. Answer keys will be released only on the scheduled date. The response sheet consists of all the responses that a candidate has marked in the exam.

If you have not downloaded your response sheet yet, then follow the given instructions and get it downloaded-

• Visit the GOAP portal

• Enter your Enrollment Id/Email Id, Password, security code and proceed to submit.

• Your response sheet will appear.

• Check the responses you have marked. You can also download it for your personal record.  

How to check GATE 2023 Answer Key?

GATE 2023 answer sheets will be uploaded only on the official website of GATE 2023. It will be made available there only for a limited period. Therefore, you are advised to check the same within the given period. After the stipulated date, you wouldn’t be able to access the answer key and submit challenges.

You can get your GATE answer key and question paper online by following the simple steps mentioned below-

• Start by visiting GATE 2023 website
• The homepage of the portal will open.
• On this page, you have to click on Answer Key tab.
• Answer key and question papers links of all the subjects will appear.
• Click on the respective key option.
• Finally, your answer keys PDF will open.
• Go through the keys.
• Download for further correspondence.

The answer key pdf for all the question papers will include the following information- Question no., type of question, section, key and marks allotted.

Procedure for Contesting/Challenging GATE Answer Key

GATE application portal also provides you an opportunity to challenge the official keys. In case you are not satisfied with any of the keys then you can submit your challenge for the same. You can contest answer keys within the scheduled dates. It can be done through the answer key contesting module available on the GOAPs portal within the specified time duration.

You can challenge the answer key of any of the questions you feel is not correct/satisfactory after giving your justification through the GOAPs portal. For contesting you are required to log in with valid credentials. You are also required to make a payment of Rs.500 (for each question subject to be changed). The payment link will be available on the same portal. A key challenge will be considered only if you have completed the payment process successfully. If your challenge is accepted then your payment will be refunded.

You should keep certain points in mind while contesting answer keys. These are-

You must ensure that the question number is as per the PDF of the question paper available on the official website of GATE 2023. On the portal, you will be shown a preview of the selected question.

You should also ensure that you select the right question number and section that you wish to challenge. If the question number is not specified clearly then, in this case, challenge submitted will not be considered. If you wish to upload any kind of supporting document for the contest, make sure you mention the correct question number and section name in the document.

GATE Final Answer Key 2023

Once the contesting procedure will complete, all the applications will be evaluated by the GATE 2023 committee. Considering challenges, the committee will prepare the final answer key and upload it on the official portal of GATE 2023.

You should note that for all the contests on key, the decision of the committee shall be final. Further correspondences or requests regarding the same will be entertained.

For all contests on answer keys, the decision of the GATE 2023 committee shall be final and binding. No correspondence or telephone calls on this matter will be entertained. After which GATE result is made.
