Tripura Junior Engineer Exam Scheme

All candidates read and also keep a copy of the exam scheme as it provides the marking scheme and the subjects that will be included in the exam. Given below is the detailed scheme of the preliminary examination:

• The preliminary Examination will serve as the Screening Test.
• The officials are going to include multiple-choice questions in the exam.
• The preliminary examination will hold a total of 100 marks.
• The question paper will consist of 100 questions and each question will be of 1 mark.
• There will be negative markings in the exam which will be as per the TPSC norms.
• The question paper will be divided into three main sections i.e., English Composition, General Knowledge and Current Events of Location, National and International Importance and Engineering Aptitude in related branch.
• Given below are the marks allotment details:
  • English Composition: 10 Marks
  • General Knowledge and Current Events: 10 Marks
  • Engineering Aptitude: 80 Marks
• Examinees will have to solve the question paper in 2 hours i.e., 120 minutes.
• The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR and 30% for reserved category candidates.
