The process of accessing the admit card is simple and easy. There is a requirement of following some simple steps and the admit card will automatically open on the respective screen. Here are the steps to download the Kolkata Police SI Admit Card:
- First, you are required to stop by the WBPRB Portal by using the link provided here: https://prb.wb.gov.in/
- This link will open the WBPRB home page in just a second or two.
- Now, in between the page, you will see various options attached vertically on the screen.
- Find the Admit Card option and tap on it once to open a new screen.
- A list will be available on the new screen providing all available recruitment admit card names. Locate the name of Kolkata Police SI and click on the link available in front of it.
- A new page will open where you will again have to tap on it Admit Card link

The officials will start the recruitment process by conducting the Preliminary Exam which is qualifying in nature. Here we have provided a detailed exam scheme of the Kolkata Police SI Preliminary Exam Scheme:
- The preliminary exam will be a total of 200 marks.
- The questions paper will be divided into different sections ie.., G.S: 50 Questions of 100 Marks, Logical & Analytical Reasoning: 25 Questions of 50 Marks and Arithmetic: 25 Questions of 50 Marks.
- The authority is going to provide 90 minutes to solve the question paper.
- The preliminary exam is a screening test for the selection of candidates for PMT and PET.
- The Preliminary Exam will be an OMR-based MCQ-type written examination.
- The question paper will be provided in two languages i.e., English and Bengali.
- Each question in the exam will carry 2 marks.
- Marks obtained in the preliminary exam will not be counted for the final merit list.
- There will be negative markings in the exam. 1/4th mark of the allotted marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
