IIT JAM 2021 Admit Card Hall Ticket: The admit card for IIT JAM 2021 is now available on the official portal of JOAPS. It is issued by the conducting institute – Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. IISc, Bangalore will conduct all the events related to IIT JAM for this year. The registered applicants can download their admit cards from the official portal from 11 January 2021 onwards. IIT JAM 2021 Exam Schedule

The online examination for JAM 2021 has been scheduled to be conducted on Feb 14, 2021. It will be conducted in two sessions-

Session I (9:30 am – 12:30 pm)Biotechnology, Physics & Mathematical Statistics
Session II (3:00 pm – 6:00 pm)Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics & Geology

IIT JAM 2021: Important Points

  • The appearing candidates must take a printout of their downloaded admit card on A4 size paper and must carry it on the day of the examination
  • The authorities will not be responsible for sending the admit card to any candidate.
  • In any case of complications, the candidate must contact the Chairperson of IISc, Bangalore via phone, email, or fax.
  • The candidates must also bring an original copy of a valid Photo ID proof. They must produce the documents whenever asked by the officials.
  • It is advisable to preserve the copy of the admit card after examination for the further admission procedure.
  • There will be no negative marking criteria for the NAT and MSQs type questions but 1/3rd of the original marks will be deducted for every wrong answer attempted in MCQs.

How to download the admit card?

Check the steps below to download the IIT JAM 2021 admit card:

Step 1: Go to the official portal of IIT JAM 2021 – JOAPS.

Step 2: Click on the “CANDIDATE’S PORTAL (JOAPS)” tab as shown.


Step 3: Login using your allotted Enrollment ID or your registered email ID and password. Solve the simple arithmetic calculation and submit.


Step 4: Download your admit card through the link displayed on the screen. It will be downloaded in pdf format.

Step 5: Take a printout of the same.

What if I forgot my Enrolment ID/ password?

If a candidate forget his enrolment ID or password, there is a procedure to recover and change the password. The same procedure is shared below. Have a look-

Step 1: Click on the “Forgot Enrolment ID or Password? ” tab as shown.


Step 2: Choose any one option from the following and change the password accordingly. If you have forgotten the Enrolment ID, click on the “Forgot Enrolment ID” and you will be provided with your enrolment ID via SMS on your registered phone number.


Documents to carry to the exam centre

The candidates must carry the following list of documents to the exam centre on the examination day.

  • Admit Card
  • Photo ID Proof (original)- It could be any one of the following:-
    • Aadhar Card
    • Driving License
    • Voter’s ID Card
    • Passport
    • PAN Card
    • Student ID

IIT JAM Result 2021

The result of the examination will be announced on March 20, 2021. It will be published on the official portal only. The result or merit list will be prepared on the basis on the difficulty of the examination, number of candidates appearing and number of seats available in each category.
