FSSAI Various Post Selection Process

The registered candidates will have to clear three stages in order to get selected for the posts. The selection process is divided into three stages, I, II, and the Interview Round. Stage I and II are online entrance examinations in the assigned examination centres. The Computer-Based Tests for each post need to be qualified in Stage I to be eligible to appear in Stage II. Once the candidate clears the CBT of the second stage, he/she will go through the interview round. The final selection depends upon all three rounds. 50% weightage is for the score in Stage I and 35% in Stage II. The selection depends 15% on the candidate’s performance in the interview rounds.

The registrations that were recently being conducted will enable the interested applicants to appear in the Stage I examination. A selection ratio is currently fixed for further selection in the higher rounds. For stage II 1:20 ratio will be followed and a 1:5 ratio will be followed in case of interview rounds. However, the ratio will adjust as per the vacancies and available posts.

FSSAI Examination Scheme

The Stage I examination, which will be a computer-based test, will be a 180-minute exam that will be of 120 marks. The syllabus differs depending upon the kind of post the applicant applied for. Four marks will be awarded in case of a correct answer, and a negative mark will be given in case of a wrong answer. The examination pattern for each post is also distinctive since the syllabus is different, but the time limit, maximum marks, and marking scheme will be constant.
