Eligibility Criteria to Get Admission to Nalanda Open University

The candidates seeking admission in U.G. and P.G. courses offered by the university must fulfill the eligibility criteria first. Here we have given the details for the required educational qualifications to get admission to U.G. and P.G. courses offered by NOU;

Eligibility Criteria for U.G. Course

• Applicant must have qualified 10+2 from state or central board of education
• The admission seeker must have scored 45% marks in 10+2.

Eligibility Criteria for P.G. Courses

• The candidate seeking admission in any P.G. courses must have qualified the U.G. course from a recognized university.
• The aspirant must score 45% or more marks in the U.G. course to apply for admission to NOU.

1. To apply for admission to Nalanda Open University, the applicant will have to visit the official website at the university.
2. On the home page of the website, a link will be given for admission to the 2022-23 session. Click on it.
3. A new page will appear on the screen.
4. Click on the New Admission option given on the page.
5. Again a new page will appear on the screen; here, you will have to create your account by entering your personal and educational details. Enter an active mobile number on this number; you will receive an Application number, password, and OTP.
6. Now login to the website with the details mentioned on the phone.
7. Fill out the application form on the screen with all the asked details.
8. Upload your photograph, original copy of the last qualifying exam’s mark sheet, and signature to complete the application form.
9. Now pay the application fee through credit or debit card or net banking.
10. Take a printout and keep it safe for future reference.

Nalanda Open University Merit List 2022

Once the application submission process gets over, the university officials will prepare the merit list for each course. The merit list will be released separately for admission to each course. Applicants’ marks in the previous class (12^th for U.G. and U.G. for P.G. courses) will be considered as the base to offer them admission to the university.
