LPU NEST 2023: Online registration for LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (NEST) for the year 2023 has been started and will be available till 20th Jan 2023 and the slot booking window for candidates will be available from 5th Jan 2023. LPU NEST is a national-level entrance exam conducted every year by Lovely Professional University (LPU), for admissions of eligible candidates into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses offered by the university. Applicants from all over India who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply for this exam.

LPU NEST is conducted for admission into the following programs-

• B.Tech
• Design (after 10+2)

LPU NEST 2023- Eligibility

Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Any candidate found ineligible at any stage his/her candidature will be cancelled.

LPU NEST Eligibility Criteria vary course-wise.

Check out the eligibility criteria for a few of the courses-

• For B.Tech- Only Indian nationals are eligible for this course. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with an aggregate of 60% in Physics, and Chemistry.
• For Hotel Management- The candidate must have passed 10+2 (with English) from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate marks. Candidates who have obtained 70% or above in 10+2 are exempted from LPU NEST (HM). They can apply directly for admission.
• For Design- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (with English) from a recognized Board with 50% aggregate marks.
• For MBA- Candidates must have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree (any discipline) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• For LLB- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks from any stream with English.

LPU NEST 2023- Application Form

• Candidates can fill out application forms online mode.
• Online application forms will be made available on the official website of the university on the specified dates.
• Candidates must submit the application forms within the specified schedule. Late applications will not be entertained.
• Candidates must ensure that they fill in all the authentic and correct details in the application form.
• Candidates must ensure that they fill out the application form and submit the same within the specified time frame.
• Candidates must take a printout of the filled-in application form and proof of payment for future reference.

• The application fee for LPU NEST 2023 for male candidates is Rs.800/- and for female candidates is Rs.500/-.
• Applicants can make payment of the application fee through debit/credit card/ net banking and cash (only for offline application forms).
• The application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

LPU NEST 2023- Exam Pattern

The Exam Pattern for LPU NEST 2023 will be different for all the programs. Have a look at the general exam pattern that will be similar for all the programs-

• All LPU NEST 2023 will be conducted online mode.
• The questions paper will consist of objective-type questions.
• The language of the question paper will be English.
• The total number of questions, total marks, duration, and Marking scheme will be different for each program.

• Duration- 2 hours 30 minutes
• Total Questions- 110
• Negative marking- No

For MBA

• Duration- 2 hours 30 minutes
• Total Questions- 100
• Negative marking- No

For LAW

• Duration- 2 hours
• Total Questions- 80
• Negative marking- No

For Hotel Management

• Duration- 2 hours 30 minutes
• Total Questions- 100
• Negative marking- No

LPU NEST 2023- Syllabus

Candidates have to prepare as per the pattern of the exam. B. Tech candidates can take help from their 10+2 PCM/Biology books. For other courses, candidates have to prepare topics from Quantitative Aptitude, English, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, etc.

LPU NEST 2023- Admit card

• Candidates can get their admit cards after booking the exam slot. For courses in which a slot booking procedure is not available, the university will release the admit cards on the specified dates.
• Applicants can download admit cards from the official website of the university by using their valid log in ID and password.
• No hard copy of admit card will not be sent to the candidates.
• All the candidates are required to carry the printed copy of the admit card to the exam centre on the day of the exam. Without a valid admit card no candidate will be permitted to enter the exam hall.
• Candidates must retain a copy of admit card till the admission procedure completes.

Result for LPU NEST 2023

LPU NEST 2023 result will be released online mode on the specified dates. LPU NEST will be released separately for every exam. Candidates can check the result on the official website of the university by using a valid application number and password. University will also send the result to the candidates on their registered emails. The result will be followed by a counselling procedure.
