Jadavpur Vidyapith Admission 2021: Jadavpur Vidyapith has released the prospectus and admission form availability dates for Kishalya and nursery class and as per the dates mentioned on the portal it will be available on 4th July 2021 for session 2022. Eligibility criteria to get admission in Jadavpur Vidyapith vary as per the class whose details are given below: –

KishalayaTo get admission in Kishalaya your ward must be born from 1st Jan 2017 to 31st Dec 2017
NurseryWhereas those who are looking to get admission in Nursery class their ward must have born from 1st Jan 2016 to 31st Dec 2016.
Class 5thFor this students must have born on or before 1st Jan 2011.
For class 9th (Science Stream)For Vidyapith students: They must have secured 85% marks in aggregate in MP (SE) While other students who have secured less than 85% marks but have at least 80% in MP (SE) may also apply for admission
Non-Jadavpur Students: They must have secured 90% aggregate marks in MP (SE) for direct admission but… Those who have secured less than 90% marks but secured 85% marks in MP (SE) may also apply for admission.
For class 9th  (Arts students)Jadavpur students: In this students need to secure 75% marks and above in MP (SE) for direct admission in arts stream but… Those who have secured below 75% marks in MP (SE) are also eligible to submit their application for admission.
Non-Jadavpur Students: For this students need to secure 80% or above in aggregate in MP (SE) for direct admission but… Students who have less than 80% marks but secured at least 75% marks in MP (SE) are eligible for admission

Jadavpur Vidyapith Admission process

As Jadavpur Vidyapith is an esteemed institution in West Bengal so it will be an uphill task for any children to get admission in it. That’s why there are some criteria of admission which have been followed by the institution to grant admission and the details for the same are given below: –

Class 9th

Admission in class 9th will be allowed on the basis of merit list and availability of seats (aggregate + obtained marks in Maths + I.Sc + P.Sc) this process is for those who are already studying in Jadavpur Vidyapith

While those who are Non-Jadavpur students their fate for admission depend on the merit which will be subject to availability of seats.

In case any seats remain vacant after the completion of the admission process then the official will also release the waiting list on its portal.

Class 5th

The admission in this class will be done on the basis of lottery system and such lottery is carried on school premises in the presence of guardians who had submitted their ward application.

The list of candidates who had participated in the lottery program for admission in class 5th their list will be published on the scheduled dates.

On the lottery day parents need to carried all the important documents which are required for admission.

The total number of seats available for class 5th is 175 (as per the notification) out of that 135 seats are for Jadavpur Vidyapith candidates and the rest are for others.

Nursery and Kishalaya

From the total seats available in class 5th, 135 seats are for students of J.V whereas the remaining seats are for students who are from English medium background from class 2nd to 4th but the seat which are available for them has been distributed category wise whose details are given here: –

Jadavpur Vidyapith is a Government Sponsored higher secondary School which was situated in the Jadavpur University Campus. It was established way back on March 11th, 1957, and currently, it was affiliated with West Bengal Board of secondary education and the West Bengal Council of higher secondary education.
