Steps to check the admission status:
- Step 1- Click on the admission status link then go to the IGNOU online admission page.
- Step 2 -Enter your registered username and password to log in.
Step 3 – Here click on the My Application option. Here you can get information about all your application submitted to IGNOU.
- Your Application Summary will open up. If it is showing “Fresh Application” then your application is under process.
- If it is showing “Application Confirmed” then it means your application has been approved by the university.
- If it is showing “Discrepancy” then your documents are not proper. You have to submit your documents again for verification.
- If it is showing “Cancelled” then your request to cancel the application is accepted.

If the verification of the papers is still going on then it may take time for the confirmation of the admission status.
