HPU B.Ed Entrance Test 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are set for the B.Ed course that needs to be obtained by every interested candidate. Applicants fulfilling the eligibility will be eligible to become a part of this admission process. Here are the eligibility conditions set by the authority concerned:
- Applicants should have scored at least 50% marks (5.01 CGPA or Grade B) in their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- For SC/ST/OBC/PhD candidates, the minimum marks required are 45% marks (4.51 CGPA). Engineering or technology graduates should have at least 55% marks (5.51 CGPA or Grade B+).
- Candidates of any age can apply for the regular two-year B.Ed. course as there is no upper age limit.

These are the steps that one can follow to submit the Himachal Pradesh University B.Ed Application Form:
- Firstly, visit the official admission website of Himachal Pradesh University i.e., https://admissions.hpushimla.in/
- You will see multiple options of courses on the home page. Click on the Undergraduate option.
- Now, a new page will form where you will have to click on the B.Ed link available under the Entrance Cell section.
- The application form will appear on the screen after a pop-up box.
- The whole application form will be divided into five stages i.e., Personal Info., Educational Qualification Details, Summary of the Application, Application Fee Submission and Submission of ref. number and application form.
- Start entering the details in the application form such as name, parent’s name, address details, etc.
- Click on Save and Continue tab and move forward towards the next step.
- Provide the educational qualification and then check the summary.
- Now, select the payment gateway and enter the details according to that choice.
- Finally, recheck the whole application and submit it. Keep several copies of the application form and fee receipt safe for future use.

Candidates need to submit a passport-size photo and signature. The photo must be a recent, full-face view and be a maximum of 100 kb in size.
